Dungeon monster Josef Fritzl is writing his memoirs in prison - to the horror of the daughter he held captive and raped.

Elisabeth, 42, who gave birth to seven children, is aghast at the thought of the world reading 74-year-old Fritzl’s account of her 24-year or deal in Amstetten, Austria, which he plans to sell to the highest bidder.

Frizl spends hours writing as fellow prisoners shout “Come out Satan - we want to play”.

A source said: “Elisabeth is appalled. It is like being violated all over again. He knows his story is worth a lot because she has made it clear she does not want to sell hers.”

Elisabeth was taken into the cellar in 1984, when she was 18. Frizl has yet to be charged.

Health magazine is reporting on a UCLA study listing the ten healthiest fruit juices.

On The Early Show Saturday, Health magazine contributor and clinical nutritionist Samantha Heller talked about what makes the juices healthy.

The study took into account the antioxidant levels of the juices.

Basically, Heller says, anything with a vivid color, like most berries, will be high in antioxidants, so it’s no surprise berry juices landed in most of the top 10 slots.

Oxidants, she explains, are naturally-occurring substances that derive from oxygen. Chemically speaking, oxygen always wants to “mate,” and if it can’t find a mate, it will latch onto anything. As it’s latching onto substances in our body, it can overwhelm them, and cause disease.

BALTIMORE (AP) — FedEx prides itself on reliability. But a mistaken delivery tipped off police to a 200-pound shipment of marijuana that someone tried to send from Pembroke Pines, Florida to Baltimore via the shipping company.

Police tell The (Baltimore) Sun they learned about the shipment when it was delivered Tuesday to the wrong resident.

Authorities posed as FedEx employees and arrested the shipment’s intended recipient, 30-year-old Richard Gwatidzo.

Officials say he was charged Thursday with possession of a large quantity of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute along with other drug related charges.

Police say they also seized eight other FedEx boxes with nearly 400 pounds of the drug.

Authorities are trying to determine the sender’s identity.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Dale Metta, who manages a gun shop just outside the District of Columbia limits in Maryland, has had to turn away dozens of city residents wanting to buy handguns in recent days. Never mind that the U.S. Supreme Court just struck down Washington’s 32-year-old ban on possessing handguns.

“I’d like to sell anything I have,” said Metta. But he won’t just yet - not until the city draws up new regulations.

The Supreme Court’s decision June 26 rebuffed the strictest gun law in the nation.

The National Rifle Association called it “a great moment in American history.” But prospective gun buyers and sellers said they remain on hold, awaiting the response of D.C. officials who are scrambling to draft new handgun regulations that comply with the court ruling.

The one-time Republican teamed with liberal Sen. Edward Kennedy to tell Congress that the Pentagon was leaving soldiers ill-equipped.

On Sunday we shot a video for “Those Girls” from Snoops last album. The video was shot at an exclusive mansion in the Hollywood hills. Next Thing provided Nine models for the shoot which was directed by Dylan “Pook” Brown for Big Pook productions.

Pook is a regular collaborator with Snoop on several videos and films now. I got to hang with Snoop in his trailer listening to oldies and enjoying Cali’s finest a realer cat in hip hop there isn’t.. No one can accuse of Snoop not getting his grind on. He had just done a show last night with rock band 311 and had a photo shoot at the mansion in the morning for a brand of Cognac he is endorsing and left back in the morning to finish the tour with 311.

We were setting up and shooting the girls while Snoop was getting it together in his trailer and while he did his Cognac photo shoot. Everything all day was real high end the house the photographer, the models for both shoots, Constance from the firm and Ted Chung were in the house putting it down on the business tip. Snoop Enterprises seems to be running real smoothly everything was picture perfect no drama.

‘Hancock’ sparks $18.8 million Friday

In one of my earlier posts I cited critics indifference to Will Smith’s Hancock, but once again it seems that the public does not share these sentiments and plan on making it a huge winner this holiday weekend. Movie critics lost.

In its third day, Sony’s “Hancock” reeled in $18.8 million, giving the thesp his highest grossing B.O. for the holiday. Smith’s previous July 4th record belonged to “Independence Day” which racked up $17.3 million in 1996.

In its first three days, including Tuesday previews, “Hancock’s” $60.1 million haul is currently pacing behind the $63.6 million cumed by “Independence Day” over the same frame, but ahead of the “Men in Black” films. “Hancock” is playing at 3,965 theaters.

Well it seems that even in death Hitler causes emotions to run high. This guy blew his cool, and knocked off the head of a Adolf Hitler wax figure on display in a German museum. I understand his protest but does knocking off the head of Hitler really change anything? Or maybe the people at Madame Tussaud’s should have known the feelings and emotions a Hitler wax figure could invoke.

A wax figure of Adolf Hitler had its head ripped off soon after the opening of a new branch of Madame Tussauds in Berlin on Saturday, police said.
A 41-year-old Berliner had been arrested and faced charges of causing criminal damage and bodily harm, after he hit another visitor who tried to stop him, spokesman Uwe Kozelnik said.

“He wanted to protest against Hitler’s figure being on show,” Kozelnik said, adding that the model had been withdrawn from display for repairs.

The defending champion recovered from a whirlwind start by her younger sister to land her seventh Grand Slam title courtesy of a 7-5, 6-4 win.

Venus paid tribute to the performance of Serena, who had looked as if she might blast her big sister off court in the opening games.

“I can’t believe it is five because when you are in the final against Serena Williams five seems so far away,” said the champion.

“It’s unbelievable especially with some of the injuries I have gone through. I love this place.”

The quality of the meeting dispelled any suggestion that the two siblings were incapable or unwilling to produce their best tennis against each other.

But Venus admitted she never found it easy to take on Serena, who comfortably won their previous Wimbledon finals, in 2002 and 2003.

“My first job is a big sister and I take that very seriously,” she said. “It is hard for all of my family, although I like to think they want me to win.”

Man Arrested for Locking His Children in Cage

POSEN, Ill. (AP) — A suburban Chicago man locked his two young daughters in a wire cage hidden in the back of his pickup truck because he didn’t have a baby sitter, officials said Thursday.

Ricardo Gonzalez, 35, of Midlothian, was arrested Monday after a woman at a gas station in Posen heard a crying child and spotted him pushing small hands back into a cage, police said.

He had a wire cage behind the front seats of his truck, police said. Black-tinted windows and a large plywood board in the back window concealed it.

When I first got a tattoo, I was like 19 years old. Now I regret getting it every time I look at it. It is a constant reminder of the mind frame I had at that age and I definitely had no class (not that tattoos are classless). It seems as though 50 Cent and Pharrell have the same sentiments as both of them are going through costly procedures to remove their tattoos. 50 Cent’s decision to remove his tattoos were based on the fact that they were limiting his film roles. Judging from the picture above, he is going through laser tattoo removal which is a painful procedure that removes the tattoo through multiple sessions of laser treatment. Lloyd Banks confirmed 50’s tattoo removal by saying:

“”I tell you one thing, that sh*t hurts more than getting a tattoo so I won’t be removing none of mine. But 50 started taking some of them off. If you look at his arms now you’re going to see it.”

- All-Pro receiver Randy Moss is now a NASCAR team owner, announcing Thursday he’s purchased 50 percent of a Truck Series team.

Randy Moss Motorsports will make its debut on July 19 at Kentucky Speedway with Willie Allen driving the No. 81 Chevrolet. The number was changed from 46 to reflect Moss’ NFL jersey number.

Moss has been eyeing entering NASCAR for some time, but said he decided to buy half of Morgan-Dollar Motorsports rather than build a team from the ground up. Moss wants the team to eventually move up to the premier Sprint Cup Series.

Amateur photographers will be able to print off their mobile phone pictures instantly thanks to a relaunch of Polaroid photo technology. The company has relaunched for the digital age with a miniature printer designed to unlock images from mobile phones.

The Polaroid PoGo uses thermal printing technology instead of ink and produces business card-sized colour photos in 60 seconds. The 8oz (227g) printer connects to digital cameras as well as phones by the USB port or Bluetooth wireless.

At first glance, they look like a couple of giant inflatable garden chairs that have washed out to sea but they are, apparently, the ultimate solution to rapidly rising sea levels. This computer-generated image shows two floating cities, each with enough room for 50,000 inhabitants.

Based on the design of a lilypad, they could be used as a permanent refuge for those whose homes have been covered in water. Major cities including London, New York and Tokyo are seen as being at huge risk from oceans which could rise by as much as 3ft by the end of this century.
This solution, by the award-winning Belgian architect Vincent Callebaut, is designed to be a new place to live for those whose homelands have been wiped out.

In a bit of role reversal, the “King of the South” has been getting advice from an unlikely source. Noted Civil Rights leader and former Atlanta mayor Andrew Young, has recently spoken out on Tip’s behalf.

“He’s bright enough, sensitive enough, vulnerable enough and intellectual enough that he might be able to help the society deal with the problem of violence,” Young tells the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “If you put [T.I.] in jail for 20 years, that won’t do any good toward gun violence. The judge had the wisdom and courage to give him a chance and force him to think about the process.”

Obama Addresses Rising Resentment of his FISA Stance

In order to stem the backlash from thousands of core supporters (70,000+ emails) who are outraged with Sen. Obama’s position on the FISA legislation, a comment was released by the Senator on my.barackobama.com to address these concerns.

I want to take this opportunity to speak directly to those of you who oppose my decision to support the FISA compromise.

This was not an easy call for me. I know that the FISA bill that passed the House is far from perfect. I wouldn’t have drafted the legislation like this, and it does not resolve all of the concerns that we have about President Bush’s abuse of executive power. It grants retroactive immunity to telecommunications companies that may have violated the law by cooperating with the Bush administration’s program of warrantless wiretapping.

Is Bin Laden Winning the War on Terror?

I recently came across this article written in 2001 and published in the NY Times. In retrospect it reminded me of bin Laden’s initial goal at the offset of this ‘war.’ His intentions were to boost the price of oil, thus destabilizing the global market and subsequently bringing the US to its knees through economic warfare. As oil hits its all-time high, and speculators speculating that it still hasn’t peaked in its soaring price, I figured on Independence Day it would be the appropriate time to ask, ‘did Osama win?’

He’s still on the run eating, oil is a hundred plus a barrel, Al Qeada is still thriving, Afghanistan is emerging as a major thorn in the side of coalition forces and the US can’t even pin a conviction down on the bombers of the USS Cole let alone the purported masterminds behind 9/11. Minus the hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqis they’ve killed and a few thousand combatants who don’t mind dying these goons are still putting in major work. The US is planning to engage Al Qaeda in North Africa, Somalia, Pakistan, Iran and lord knows where else they are conducting black-ops trying to destabilize a government so they can topple the power structure, create a vacuum and insert a puppet.
